What is Calculus?
In the same way that geometry is the study of shape, and algebra is the study of generalizations of arithmetic operations, calculus is the mathematical study of change and motion. Calculus combines algebra, geometry, and trigonometry and continues further.
Calculus 1 serves as an introductory corse to Calculus as a whole. The topics covered are limits, derivatives, application of derivatives, and integrals. A strong foundation in calculus is important if you are to go on to be a researcher, doctor, engineer and many more high valued professions!
